Meet Dr. Weimerskirch

Dr. Whitney Weimerskirch, or “Dr. W,” as some people call her, grew up in Virginia.  She completed her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University, and worked as an engineer for several years before deciding to go to dental school, combining her skills as an engineer and her passion for providing care to others.

Dr. Weimerskirch attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry on a United States Navy scholarship. After graduation, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Naval Medical Readiness and Training Unit Norfolk. Dr. Weimerskirch then served as an active duty General Dentist for 5 years and had many fun adventures, including completing a root canal in 13-foot seas in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on deployment! After separating from the Navy, Dr. Weimerskirch joined a private practice in Washington.

In her practice, Dr. Weimerskirch focuses on listening to patients and ensuring they feel comfortable and heard. She is a life-long learner, committed to continuing education and providing her patients with the best possible care for healthier and happier smiles. In her free time, Dr. Weimerskirch enjoys spending time with her family, walking their lovable rescue dog, and reading.
